The lightweight construction of the system provides a more sustainable solution in addition to the exceptional ballistic performance. With a weight range of approximately 25 lbs / sq ft, the system is less stressful on the mechanical systems and the performance of the vehicle is not adversely affected.

 

IED and Blast Protection

The ability of Kryron to rapidly dissipate heat means that the use of IED with their extreme heat allows for less material to be used than with the .50 cal system.

 

Vehicle Armor Kit

 

The system can be installed on existing vehicles without specialized tools or modifications. The vehicle armor is developed by creating armor panels based upon the template designs from the vehicle. The layered system is combined with the appropriate thickness of steel to provide the needed protection. The panels come ready to install on the vehicle.
